Subjects:

Two people took part in my Beta Site Review. They were family members, the brewers of the beer to be sold through the final site. The site was being built with them in mind, so their reactions were critical.

Think Aloud Task:

I asked the participants to review the site for navigation, ease of use, color scheme, logical positioning of information, plus asked for any other reaction or comment they had.

Summary of the Think Aloud:

Both participants in the think aloud were pleased with the progress on the site. They both had a hard time figuring out where to "Click Here" for the list of current offerings. One person said I needed to add the individual bottles pages, even if they said coming soon.

Summary of the Post-test Interview:

Both users could tell the site was incomplete at this point. The over/under 21 splash page link was not finalized yet and for the individual beers to have their own page. They both commented that the beer bottles were better now they had been lightened at the bottom. It also made the rollover information pop out even more.

Findings to be Implemented:

As a result of the test comments I plan on making these changes:

Some long-term Goals:
The long term goals have remained the same.

Findings to Not Be Implemented:

At this point, I am fairly happy with how the whole site looks. Once the real product is available, I will finish it off. Stay tuned.
